In this region, Granules has a powerful presence across Europe. In the past few years, the main drive of the Company's growth in this market has been its API & PFI business. With the increase in the formulations business opportunities in Europe, GIL's main focus now will be on the finished formulation contacts with large pharmaceutical companies.

Granules USA Inc. is a 100 percent owned U.S.-based subsidiary that provides existing and prospective customers in U.S.and Canada with a direct interface. With FDA and TGA approved manufacturing facilities, we have had a solid platform for growth in this key region.

Granules operations in the United States are conducted through its fully owned subsidiary - Granules USA Inc, which was incorporated in 1987.

For Granules, Latin America has been a key investment. Granules has increased its market share due to increasing awareness in the market, adoption of competitive marketing strategy and value added technical support. The Company currently has a strong presence in four major markets - Colombia, Chile, Brazil and Mexico and is continously expanding its presence in these key markets and other markets in the region.

As part of our global initiative, we are committed to expanding our presence by aggressively growing our base of partners in Asia, MiddleEast and Africa. Since 2009, our reach has extended to over 20 countries in the region. We are riding this momentum and increasing our API sales even further in Paracetamol, Metformin, Guaifenesin, Ciprofloxacin and by extension, respective PFI sales. Today, Granules has a strong presence in South Korea, Australia and the Middle East.

We have stayed true to our origins and have built a dominating presence in India based on sustainable and mutual partnerships. As testament, not only do we offer an end-to-end portfolio of products, we customize our products based on customer specifications.

In 2006, Granules entered into a 50:50 joint-venture with Hubei Biocause Pharmaceutical Company. The new entity, Granules-Biocause Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., is among the world’s largest producers of Ibuprofen API. The strategic partnership has helped streamline Granules’ value chain for Granules and also supports Granules’ continuous endeavor to supply various large-volume Ibuprofen products while delivering the highest value to the customer.
